Pilates Reformer

Students will gain understanding of how to personalize equipment settings, proper body position and movement sequence. This class will provide a refreshing and energizing workout while improving strength, stability, muscle tone, flexibility and coordination.You will soon realize that boredom is not an option on this unique apparatus! Exercises will vary from isolated movements of arms and legs to exercises integrating the entire body. You will gain a basic knowledge of its function, spring settings, ropes and straps.


Strength and Balance

Strength Class– Tighten, tone, improve balance and sculpt your body with small free weights and body weight exercises at your own level. A variety of methods and equipment (hand weights, bands, balls, and blocks) will be used.  This class is a must for everyone and is great for all fitness levels. Strength training is critical to your health.  After 35 women lose 5% of their lean muscle mass and that # increases after 65.  Muscle mass is important to your life!!!!  There is a direct correlation between your health and the amount of muscle mass that you have. The more you build, the faster your metabolism hums, the tighter and firmer you get, and the easier it is to lose weight and keep it off." It also decreases your risk for diabetes, stroke, heart disease, and makes you less likely to fall or become injured.  Having more muscle mass will gives you more strength and energy to get through everyday life easier.  This type of class will help you keep the ability to reach, bend, squat, lift, pull, maintain balance,  and do all the things you enjoy doing for a long time.

       Gentle Flow Yoga / Candlelight Yoga

An all levels vinyasa class with a calming pace to allow time for additional guidance. Modifications are offered to give students the ability to choose a more beginner or more advanced practice. Gain strength and flexibility at your own speed and end each class with a guided meditation to relax and restore.

Pilates Mat

Pilates Mat will focus on key principles of classical pilates such as awareness, breath, balance, concentration, control and stabilization.

Pilates Foam Roller

Pilates Foam Roller is all about Strength, Stretch and Release. Pilates Mat / Foam Roller class will increase core strength, provide cardio intensity and resistance training while improving flexibility.

Barre Cardio

Barre Cardio will provide students an understanding of alignment, form and technique while combining the elements of pilates and ballet to produce beautiful elongated lines and a toned, healthy body. It's fast paced and calorie burning motion are in unison with cardio intensity resulting in defined abs, sculpted arms and legs and elongated torso.

Parkinson's SMART

Parkinson's SMART – Stressless Motivation and Restorative Techniques. This class will embody exercise which targets specific deficits of individuals with Parkinson's disease and M.S. and provides the foundation for restoring and maintaining daily living activities and functional mobility. This class also addresses cognitive function, speech and vocal exercises.
